You want that line to say render.resolution="1920x1080" if it doesn't already, this line controls your screen resolution. On line 18 is the render.resolution="#x#" command. ini file with notepad or any simple text editor including wordpad or MS word but using notepad is recommended. You will have to go back one directory to get into the LocalLow forler where the H&G folder that contains the settings file is. If you don't know how to get to the appdata folder in win10 press the windows key + R and type %appdata% If for some reason you can't do it in game there is a config file for the graphics located in the AppData\LocalLow\Heroes and Generals folder named localsettings.ini It goes to 1920x1080 for me without any issues. I'm guessing that's why you haven't been able to change the resolution. You have to be in a battle to get to the resolution and advanced video settings if you weren't already aware of this. The system requirements say the game is designed to run on win7, 8, and 10. If you're also running win10 you don't need to force compatability to an older version of windows. I'm running win10 and the game runs fine.
